We would introduce a practical example of the open lecture for high school students at Kanazawa Institute of Technology in 2025. This lecture aimed to help students understand the relationship between music and mathematics and understand exponents by the following : expressing sound frequencies using exponents in the twelve-tone equal temperament system, seeing the frequencies of notes constituting a chord can be expressed as simple integer ratios, and constructing the Pythagorean tuning system.
