This paper reports a fully digitalized instructional design that used the resulting time flexibility to integrate liberal arts elements, such as technological history, industrial history, AI, and career perspectives, into mechanical engineering education. It also discusses a practice in which graduate school enrollment increased 3.6-fold over six years.
