In Kanagawa University’s university-wide liberal arts program, we offer seminars aimed at fostering entrepreneurship by incorporating engineering-based knowledge—such as systems thinking—drawing on teaching materials from the Department of Industrial Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering. This paper presents the background and structure of these seminars and discusses several insights gained through our educational practices.
