We planned and conducted a “hands-on making workshop” for upper-grade elementary school students and investigated and analyzed their sense of accomplishment and learning needs. Based on the analysis results, we explored ways to develop engaging teaching materials and design a support program for hands-on making experiences that cater to diverse interests, based on preliminary surveys.
