This study designed and implemented a regional industry learning program aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of career education in engineering faculties. Survey-based analysis revealed that combining multiple field visits to local SMEs with preparatory learning promoted changes in students' industry understanding, career awareness, and learning motivation. The program also showed potential to compensate for the limited instructional capacity of SMEs.
