Global Virology 2026: Deep Science for Emerging Threats

This meeting will bring together researchers worldwide to address emerging viral threats through fundamental science and international collaboration.

• English-language plenary sessions and symposia held daily
• International joint symposia (US–Japan, Australia–Japan, France–Japan, etc.)
• Topics spanning virology, immunology, epidemiology, and modeling, etc  

Abstract Submission

We invite submissions for oral and poster presentations.

Language: English or Japanese (English encouraged)

Registration Fees Waiver

Registration fees will be waived for non-Japanese participants from overseas.

Registration and Abstract submission

• Abstract Submission Period : Wednesday 15 April 2026, 10:00 ~Thursday 4 June 2026, 12:00 noon (JST)
• Registration is necessary for abstract submission.

Travel Grant Opportunity

To support international participation, we are pleased to offer Travel Grants (50,000 JPY each) for up to 20 participants.

• Available to researchers based outside Japan
• Selection will be based on abstract review.
• Early-career researchers are especially encouraged to apply.

We strongly encourage eligible participants to submit an abstract and apply for this opportunity.
