- JSV Student Member (Ph.D. Student) *1：
Only student members of the Japanese Society for Virology are eligible. Students who do not belong to the Japanese Society for Virology are “Non-JSV members”.
- Undergraduate students should upload a student ID card from the registration page.
- The JSV membership number is required for registration. Please put “007-999-9999” if you are in the process of applying for the JSV membership.
- Since the 73rd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Virology is held concurrently with international conferences, participants who belong to overseas facilities are exempt from the registration fee.
Program Book
We will prepare a program booklet and a Program & Abs (PDF). These are included in the registration fee above.
- Program booklet will be available at the registration desk on the day of the meeting.
- Program & Abstracts (PDF): It will be posted on the meeting website.
Password to view will be send to participants via email when the PDF is released to the website.
Registration Procedure
How to register
- Registration will be done online. Please register online before you arrive at the site.
- A-Pass(former Confit account) is required to register.
- Please manage the login ID and password you set when you obtained your A-Pass (formerly Confit account) at your own risk so that you do not forget them. Please note that for security reasons, we are unable to answer any inquiries regarding your login ID or password. If you have forgotten your password, please reissue it by clicking the "Forgot your password?" link on the A-Pass login screen.
- Registration by itself does not constitute official registration. Registration will be completed once the participation fee has been paid. If payment cannot be confirmed, your registration will be cancelled.
- After completing your participation registration, a participation registration completion email containing your registration number will be sent to the email address you registered. In addition, a payment completion email will be sent when your credit card payment is complete. This notification is usually sent within a few minutes, but if you do not receive an email, it is possible that your participation registration application or credit card payment has not been completed. If you have completed your credit card payment but the payment status is "unpaid," please contact the secretariat.
- The registration system may not function properly on browsers other than the latest versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, and Safari. (It is not compatible with smartphones or tablets.)
Payment method
- Only credit card payments are accepted.
- Even if you are attending on the day, please pay by credit card after registering online. Cash payments are not accepted.
Receipt of registration fee
- Invoices can be issued by logging in to the registration site and clicking "Download Invoice."
- Receipts can be issued by logging in to the registration site and clicking "Download Receipt" after payment is complete.

Cancellation and Refund Policies
- If we are unable to confirm your payment, your registration will be cancelled.
- As a general rule, registration fees will not be refunded.
Personal Information Protection
The personal information you register will not be used for any purpose other than preparing for the operation of this academic conference or sending announcements from the Japanese Society for Virology. In addition, the personal information you register will be managed strictly with the necessary security measures.
