[1F14]Epitaxial growth of FeGeγ thin film with incommensurate Nowotny chimney ladder structure on Si substrate

We propose an epitaxial growth method that enables the fabrication of FeGeγ thin films on Si substrates by utilizing epitaxial FeGeγ nanoseeds. By TEM observations, we confirmed the epitaxial growth of the FeGeγ thin films and revealed that their growth orientation varies depending on the composition. This approach may also serve as a promising technique for the epitaxial growth of various intermetallic compounds.
