[S11☆]Game Changer for Next-Generation Drug Discovery —Leveraging the Latest Research Information from AMED BINDS and Connecting It to Drug Discovery—

Fri. Mar 27, 2026 1:10 PM - 4:10 PM JST
Fri. Mar 27, 2026 4:10 AM - 7:10 AM UTC
Room 05 (F401, Bldg. 4, Area 2 [4F])
Organizer: Kazutake Tsujikawa (Grad. Sch. Pharm. Sci., UOsaka), Tatsuya Zenkoh (Grad. Sch. Phar. Sci., UTokyo)
Numerous diseases, including intractable and rare diseases, remain poorly understood in terms of their pathophysiology, resulting in delayed drug development. Therefore, there is a strong expectation that academic researchers will advance fundamental research and advance drug discovery to make contributions to society. To meet these expectations, it is essential to build foundational technologies based on cutting-edge science, integrate analytical techniques, and promote collaboration across research fields. Moreover, the accumulation of insights and knowledge fosters new ideas and discoveries. This symposium will introduce challenging and innovative cutting-edge research conducted by researchers from diverse research fields participating in AMED BINDS. BINDS supports not only the research technologies developed at each hub, but also analytical foundation techniques using advanced equipment, research materials such as compound libraries, and the synthesis of compound derivatives. We hope this symposium will serve a game-changer in pioneering next-generation pharmaceutical and drug discovery research based on BINDS, and we look forward to deepening discussions with participants.
