This symposium brings together young microbiologists from various fields, including pharmaceutical sciences, to present the latest research findings. The goal is to overcome infectious diseases caused by pathogenic microorganisms, including antimicrobial-resistant bacteria. Microbial research spans diverse fields, including pharmacy, medicine, life sciences, natural sciences, and agriculture. Elucidating disease mechanisms, drug discovery, and infection control are a few of the many anticipated applications.
Therefore, we have planned a joint symposium with the Kanto Branch of the Japanese Society for Microbiology. Our goal is to foster mutual understanding among young microbiologists by facilitating the exchange of information across disciplinary boundaries. This will encourage new collaborative research and generate novel research themes. By leveraging the flexible thinking and cutting-edge techniques characteristic of young researchers, this symposium will broaden the possibilities of microbiology research from multiple perspectives, contributing to further advancements in pharmaceutical research.
