The perovskite SrRuO3 has attracted attention in spintronics due to the observation of the Weyl fermions. Previous studies have clarified that Ru stoichiometry is crucial in realizing the Weyl states; deviations in the stoichiometric ratio of Ru significantly alter the magnetic and transport properties. Therefore, the amount of Ru deficiency is also thought to affect the spin-charge conversion in SrRuO3 significantly; however, this has never been investigated. Here, we report the influence of the Ru stoichiometry change on the spin-to-charge conversion in all-epitaxial (La,Sr)MnO3 (LSMO)/SrRu1-xO3 (x=0 or 0.3) by spin pumping. We have found that the spin-charge conversion efficiency θSHE of 0.034 in the SrRuO3 sample is much larger than that of 0.0053 in the SrRu0.7O3 sample at 300 K, indicating that the Ru composition is essential for θSHE. These results suggest that the quality of SrRuO3 plays a pivotal role in spintronics.
