YIG thin films can exhibit spin glass behavior at room temperature, making them promising candidates for future neuromorphic computing devices. To gain deeper insight into its ultrafast magnetization behavior, a rapid and sensitive characterization method is required. In this work, we implemented a time-resolved magneto-optic Faraday effect (TR-MOFE) system to investigate the spin dynamics of YIG thin films grown on GGG and YAG substrates under varying external magnetic fields.We successfully detected spin precession signals and analyzed the mechanism underlying their observation using tr-MOFE. Finally, key dynamic parameters of YIG were extracted and discussed.
