NiMn binary alloy thin films were synthesized via a solution-based route combining co-precipitation, low-temperature heat treatment (LTHT), and spin coating. NiMn-based alloys have attracted significant attention due to their potential applications in spintronics and magnetic shape memory devices. Structural characterization using XRD revealed a transformation from an oxide phase into a chemically ordered L10 phase after reduction. The appearance of reflections such as (100), (110), and (111) confirmed the formation of a tetragonal structure. Magnetic properties, characterized by VSM, indicated a dominant in-plane magnetic response with higher saturation magnetization and coercivity compared to the out-of-plane direction. The correlation between structural evolution and magnetic behavior highlights the impact of annealing conditions on phase formation. These findings clarify the impact of order–disorder transitions on NiMn thin film properties.
