We have developed a 500-MHz-class Cr:ZnS ring laser oscillator with a bidirectional output power of 135 mW and broadband spectrum supporting sub-100-fs pulse generation near a central wavelength of 2300 nm. Development of high-average-power polarized all-fiber pump lasers is expected to raise the KLM stability.
