【ハイライト講演】コーサイト及びその仮像(石英多結晶体)は,超高圧変成作用の指標と認識されている.コーサイトの探索は岩石の変成履歴を復元する上で重要であるが,その痕跡を天然試料から見出すことは容易でない.講演者らは三波川エクロジャイトが超高圧下まで達したか否かを検証するため,EBSDに基づき石英の結晶方位関係を精査した.既存のコーサイト―石英相転移曲線の妥当性や三波川帯の変成史再考を促す成果が得られており,今後の進展が期待される. (ハイライト講演とは...)
