The 62nd National Heat Transfer Symposium/HTSJ International Heat Transfer Symposium

Manuscript Guidelines/Manuscript Submission

Manuscript Submission Guidelines

  • Please submit either a full presentation manuscript or a presentation abstract.
  • If you are presenting in an HTSJ international symposium, please submit either type of manuscript in English.
  • If you plan to submit the content of your presentation as an original research paper to another academic journal other than our society’s journal, Thermal Science and Engineering, please submit a presentation abstract to avoid any issues with duplicate submissions.
  • The presentation abstract should be one A4-size page, excluding the English abstract, and the formatting should follow a single-column layout with approximately 50 characters per line and 46 lines per page.
  • The full presentation manuscript should be between 2 to 6 A4-size pages, with a single-column layout, approximately 50 characters per line, and 46 lines per page.
  • For submissions to Thermal Science and Engineering, a full paper of up to 8 pages can be submitted.
  • Both manuscripts can include color figures, and the file size should not exceed 2MB. Please note that video files are not accepted.
  • Submit the manuscript as a PDF file through the symposium website.
  • Please be aware that manuscripts not submitted by the deadline will not be included in the electronic version of the proceedings or posted on the web.
  • If discrepancies exist between the submitted manuscript and the information provided during the application, the program will reflect the application details. If you need to make corrections, you can do so on the presentation application correction page until the manuscript submission deadline. After that, no further corrections will be accepted, so please ensure you verify all information by the deadline.
  • Manuscripts included in the electronic proceedings can be submitted directly to Thermal Science and Engineering (TSE) for publication. However, acceptance will be subject to the standard peer-review process.
  • Please read the TSE submission guidelines if you wish to submit to TSE. The TSE editorial committee will handle the peer review, which will assign an editor based on the manuscript in the electronic proceedings, following the usual procedures.
  • Manuscripts of 2-6 pages, similar to the presentation manuscript, will be accepted for TSE submission, but a more detailed version of up to 8 pages is recommended to facilitate the review process. Once accepted, you must submit the final manuscript in the TSE format. The submission date for the TSE manuscript will be considered the same as the date your manuscript was received by the symposium organizing committee.
