Getting to Registration
All participants are required to register at the registration desk before proceeding to anything else. The desk is in the New Hall — a separate building from the Main Building, and the first one you come to from the station.
1.Kokusaikaikan Station [K01]
The last stop on the Karasuma Line — take any train bound for Kokusaikaikan and stay on to the end. About 20 minutes from Kyoto Station [K11], about 16 minutes from Shijo [K09]. Leave by Exit 4-2.
2.Walk to the New Hall
The New Hall is the first building you reach — before the Main Building. A few minutes on foot.
3.Registration desk
Just inside the New Hall. Open from 13:00 on Sunday 23 August, and from 8:00 on 24 – 27 August.
From the station to the desk
The dotted line runs from Exit 4-2 to the registration desk.
Print your badge before you travel
Sign in to your Confit account and use Certificate Download under Registration Info. The file holds your conference badge, your certificate of attendance and your QR code together. Bring it printed, or have it ready on your phone — either is quicker at the desk than being looked up by name.
Inside the New Hall
The registration area is on the left as you enter. The cloak room, lunch and part of the poster session are in the same hall.
Once you have your badge, the Main Building is a short walk on. See the venue map for the session rooms.
