How to get to Rekisaikan

Getting to the Rekisaikan from Kitayama Station
Kyoto Institute, Library and Archives / 京都府立京都学・歴彩館
Subway Karasuma Line → Kitayama Station → Exit 1 → about 5 minutes on foot

1Get off at Kitayama Station
Kitayama is on the Subway Karasuma Line, two stops before Kokusaikaikan — the station for the main congress venue.

2Go up to the ticket gates
Take the stairs or the escalator up from the platform.

3Turn right and head for Exit 1
This board faces you as you come out of the ticket gates. Kyoto Institute, Library and Archives is listed on the Exit 1·2 side, to the right.
Turn right and follow the yellow Exit 1 signs along the corridor.

Please note: Exit 1 has stairs only. If you need an elevator or an escalator, use Exit 3 instead — it brings you to the same street, but the walk is longer.
4Leave by Exit 1, then turn right
Climb the stairs, step out onto the street and turn right straight away.

5Walk straight along the street
Stay on this pavement. Kyoto Concert Hall soon comes into view on your right.

Keep going straight, with the concert hall on your right.

7The Rekisaikan appears on your right

8Go in through the main entrance
Walk straight in from the entrance: the Main Hall is on your right and the seminar rooms are on your left.
