In the 1st year basic laboratory course, peptide synthesis is performed. Each student independently synthesizes and identifies a peptide, helping them deepen their understanding of the field while fostering autonomy and a sense of responsibility. However, securing sufficient time for the procedures and for conceptual understanding remains a challenge. Currently, improvements such as shortening reaction times, reducing reagent use, and increasing the number of learning assistants are being considered.
