Spin-orbit torque (SOT) is widely utilized in magnetic information storage devices for efficient data writing. Recently, three-dimensional domain wall motion memory (3D-DWMM), an emerging memory technology employing SOT for data writing, has been proposed. Due to the high aspect ratio magnetic nanopillars required for memory cells, electrochemical deposition offers a promising fabrication method. However, despite its potential, SOT has not been demonstrated in electrochemically deposited materials until now. Here, we present the first certification of current-induced SOT magnetization switching in electrochemically deposited materials, showing the potential of electrochemical deposition techniques for advancing spintronics research.
