We have succeeded in developing a higher performance, cheaper thermoelectric material and power generation module that surpasses the half-century champion BiTe-type, and that can be used as waste heat power generation that contributes to carbon neutrality, and also as IoT power sources. We are also developing Peltier cooling elements, which can expand their applications. New high-performance thermoelectric materials were discovered using new principles, and using processes suited to industrial and mass production we are developing thermoelectric generation modules of various formats, and also thermal management technologies. The progress of applications will also be presented.
