In this talk, we will discuss the latest research and future prospects for the transverse thermoelectric conversion based on spin caloritronics. We will mainly report on the research progress on the development of thermoelectric permanent magnets, which is being carried out as part of the JST ERATO Uchida Magnetic Thermal Management Materials Project.
