Magnetic-optic Kerr effect (MOKE)、YIG

Dopant types and concentrations largely influence the magnetization properties of Y3Fe5O12 (YIG) thin film, which can be rapidly characterized by the polarization variation between the incident and reflected laser based on the Magneto-Optic Kerr effect (MOKE). In this work, we performed the MOKE technique to characterize the hysteresis properties of bismuth (Bi)-doped YIG thin film on a (111) SubstitutedGd3Ga5O12 (sGGG) substrate with different doping ratios and discussed the mechanism of the Bi doping on the magnetic properties as well as the MOKE signal enhancement.
