Terahertz (THz) waves, spanning frequencies from 0.1 to 10 THz, hold significant potential for various applications. The Resonant Tunneling Diode (RTD) THz oscillator, operating in the negative differential conductance (NDC) region through quantum tunneling effects, is a promising room-temperature THz source [1]. Due to the nonlinearity in the current-voltage characteristics, an RTD operates as a self-oscillating mixer when an external signal is injected. This characteristic can be utilized for signal down-conversion and determining the injection-locking range. In this study, we report on the dependence of the beat signal power on the injection signal power in a self-oscillating mixer.
