We invite proposals for contributed sessions based on ideas from members of the Environmental DNA Society. Under the theme of the 9th Annual Meeting,

“Envisioning Environmental DNA as Social Infrastructure”

We welcome a wide range of session proposals that advance new directions in eDNA research and contribute to its implementation in society.
In particular, we strongly encourage proposals related to:

・Global observation networks (e.g., ANEMONE Global)
・Standardization and data infrastructure for environmental DNA
・Implementation in society, including industry–academia collaboration and regional initiatives

However, proposals are not limited to these topics, and we welcome submissions covering a broad range of themes related to environmental DNA.

 

Number of sessions : Two sessions will be selected.
(If the number of proposals exceeds the available slots, selection will be made by the organizing committee.)

Schedule: Sessions will be held in the morning of Day 2 and Day 3 of the conference (approximately 120 minutes each).
(Preferred dates will be taken into consideration; however, final scheduling will be determined by the organizing committee.)

If the number of proposals exceeds the available slots, proposals will be evaluated by the organizing committee based on the following criteria:

・Relevance to the conference theme
・Novelty and originality
・Academic significance
・Societal relevance and potential impact
・Interdisciplinary scope and diversity
