Against the backdrop of initiatives such as the TNFD and the Nature Positive Initiative, companies and local governments are increasingly required not only to assess nature-related risks but also to continuously measure the actual state of nature at specific sites. However, conducting conventional surveys across numerous locations presents challenges regarding costs and personnel. In this seminar, we will provide an overview of the context and explore monitoring approaches that combine eDNA, citizen science, and integrated management tools to facilitate effective assessment and decision-making.
