2 Participation in Conferences and Academic Social Events

Please register in advance to attend the conference. Credit card payment and bank transfer are accepted. The registration period is from April 7 (Mon.) to August 22 (Fri.).

Registration on the day of the conference will be by credit card only.

The conference social event will be held on the first day of the conference on the 3rd floor of the cafeteria building on campus. The registration period is the same as the conference registration period (tentative).

Details will be announced on the website of the conference.

 

3 General Lecture Registration Procedure

General Session Registration: Web-based registration only. Please use the conference support system (Confit).

Registration period: Monday, April 7, 2025 10:00 - Friday, May 16, 2025 17:00
                       Changes can be made until 17:00 on May 26, 2025.

Speakers (Applicants): Only one person may apply for and present one paper, and no more than two persons (per unit) may be nominated by representatives of Regular Members (including Regular Online Members, Life Members, and Long-term Members), Student Members (including Student Online Members), Honorary Members, Overseas Members, and Sustaining Members of the Society, and one person nominated by a representative of an Organization Member. The number of members is limited to two (per unit) nominated by a representative of a Student Member, Honorary Member, Overseas Member, or Sustaining Member. However, joint authors other than the presenter may not be nominated.

Program organization: The program for the general sessions can be arranged by the conference secretariat. However, if there is a preference for the order of presentations in a series of research, we will try to accommodate it as much as possible. The program will be posted on the conference website. The program of general lectures will be available on the conference website on July 1 (the date of release of abstracts will be announced on the conference website after February 1).

Presentation time: Each presentation will be 12 minutes long, followed by a 2-minute discussion (with an additional 1-minute speaker change).

Presentation format: For general presentations, speakers are requested to use PowerPoint presentation software and to operate it by themselves. Details on the presentation format and PowerPoint preparation procedures will be announced at a later date.

Presentation category: Please indicate your first and second choices by number. However, please note that we may not be able to accommodate your preference due to program organization.

4 Symposium

5 "Young Scientists' Group" Call for Research Presentations

In this conference, students and those who are under 35 years old (born in 1990) will have an opportunity to make poster presentations on the same topics as the general presentations in order to promote the exchange of information and research among young researchers. The best presenters will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by the conference organizing committee, and awards will be presented at the Young Researchers' Networking Session. Details will be posted on the website.

 

6 International Poster Award

International students and foreign researchers under 35 years old who present at the Young Scientists' Meeting and wish to be screened by the International Exchange Committee will be eligible for the International Poster Award. The International Exchange Committee members and the judges appointed by the International Exchange Committee will select the winners, and the awards will be presented at the Young Scientists' Meeting. Details will be posted on the website.

 

 

7 Recruitment of Companies to Participate in Job Hunting Seminars

With the cooperation of our supporting companies and other food science and engineering-related companies in the Kanto area, we will hold a company introduction and job hunting corner on the afternoon of Friday, August 29, for students attending the conference who are thinking about finding employment.

The time and method of the event (either in the form of a presentation at a briefing session or individual interviews at booths) will be announced later, but we are looking for companies interested in participating. 

 

8 Other

Please note that accommodation reservations may be concentrated during the conference period due to the summer vacation period.
