Oral presentations

1.Computer for oral presentation
Presentation shall be given with your PC connected to a PC switcher next to the podium.

  • Make sure to bring any necessary electrical adaptors and connectors for your computer.
  • The meeting venue will provide a HDMI cable for connecting to PC switchers. Macintosh and certain kinds of Windows computers require an appropriate connector to fit a HDMI plug.
  • The electricity runs on 100 volts and 60 hertz in Nagoya.
  • The screen ratio is 16:9. DO NOT use the 4:3 layout for your presentation.


2. Presentation registration
Please come to your session room at 10 min prior to the beginning of the talk and connect your PC to a PC switcher.


3.Presentation time

Young Scientist Award for Presentation:
10 min for presentation and 5 min for discussion.

Poster Presentations
  • Poster board size: 900 mm (width) x 2100 mm (height)
  • Please leave a 210 mm x 150 mm blank space at the top left corner for the organizing committee to indicate your poster number.
  • Please stay (or stand) in the vicinity of your poster for explanation during your assigned discussion time.
  • PA-001PA-100 posters are Poster Award candidate.
Mounting:9:00-13:30 on Day1 (July 16 (Wed))

Day 1
July 16 (Tue) Discussion:

13:40-14:25 for odd number posters

14:25-15:10 for even number posters

Day 2
June 17 (Wed) Discussion:

15:20-16:05 for even number posters 

16:05-16:50 for odd number posters

Day 3
June 18 (Fri) Discussion:

11:10-12:10 for Free Discussion
Removal:12:10-13:00 on Day3 (July 18 (Fri))

Remove your poster by yourself when 12:10-13:00 on Day3 (July 18 (Fri). The Secretariat will not keep nor return posters.
 
For Student Poster Award Finalists (PA-001–PA-100)
Finalists are required to present their posters to the judges at the designated time.
Presentation: 3 minutes + Q&A: 2 minutes (Total: 5minutes)
Judging criteria:
・ Presentation and Q&A
・ Research content
・ Individual contribution
If the presenter is absent or exceeds the time limit, the presentation will be disqualified.
⚠️ Judges will visit your poster either on Day 1 or Day 2. Please make sure to be present at your poster at the assigned time.
Winners will be selected finally by judges and the organizing committee.
Results will be announced at the Day 2 Reception (Thu, July 17), and certificates will be available at the HQ desk on Day 3.
