We reward students who are members of the Japan Society of Cell Biology or Japanese Society of Developmental Biologists for their excellent poster presentations to encourage students and promote cell biology and developmental biology researchers.

日本細胞生物学会または日本発生生物学会に所属する学生をエンカレッジし細胞生物学および発生生物学研究者の育成を図ることを目的とし、優秀な学生のポスター発表を表彰する。

Members of the Society who are graduate or undergraduate students at the time of the conference. High school students are not eligible.

大会発表時に大学院生、学部学生であるもの。高校生は対象としない。

Those wishing to be considered for the award should check the box for the Best Student Poster Presentation Award when submitting a general abstract.

一般演題応募時に、学生優秀ポスター発表賞応募欄にチェックをする。

Depending on the number of applications, the selection will be made in two stages: preliminary round (pre-selection of abstracts) and final round (selection based on poster presentations at the conference).
If there are more than 75 applicants, approximately 75 will be selected in the preliminary round, and if there are fewer than 75, all applicants will be reviewed in the final round.
Applicants will be notified whether they are eligible for the final round in the notice of acceptance of general abstracts.
In the final round, applicants will present their poster to the judges during the designated presentation time (3 minutes for presentation, 2 minutes for Q&A). Applicants will be evaluated based on (1) presentation, (2) research, and (3) contribution.

応募数に応じて、予選（演題登録時の要旨による事前審査）と本選（大会当日のポスター発表による本審査）の2段階で選考する。
応募者数が75名より多い場合は、予選にて約75名の本選対象者を選抜し、75名以下の場合は全員本選にて選考を行う。
本選対象の可否については一般演題採択通知にてお知らせする。
本選では、応募者は指定された発表時間に審査員に発表する。目安として3分発表、2分質疑応答を行う。(1)プレゼンテーションと質疑、(2)研究内容、(3)応募者の寄与の度合いを考慮し、総合的に評価する。

The President of the meeting will invite approximately 15 reviewers, mainly past winners of the Japanese Society for Cell Biology Young Scientists' Excellence Award.

歴代の日本細胞生物学会若手優秀賞受賞者を中心として、15名程度をプログラム委員会が推薦し、大会長が依頼する。

Award winners will be announced at the banquet, and certificates will be presented at the reception on the third day of the conference. 

受賞者を懇親会で発表し、大会３日目に本部受付にて表彰状を配布する。
