[S09]Spatiotemporal Genomics in Development and Cell Biology[E]

Fri. Jul 18, 2025 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM JST
Fri. Jul 18, 2025 12:00 AM - 2:00 AM UTC
Room B(5F Small Hall1)
Chairpersons:Takuya Yamamoto(Kyoto Univ.), Yasuyuki Ohkawa(Kyushu Univ.)
Co-hosted by: JST-CREST, Multicellular Interaction
Precise gene regulation in time and space is fundamental to both developmental and cell biology, covering processes from genome organization to RNA output and cellular behavior. Recent advances in epigenomics and spatial transcriptomics have enabled us to explore this complexity with remarkable resolution. This symposium focuses on how DNA replication dynamics, chromatin modifications, enhancer landscapes, and spatial gene expression coordinate to shape cell fate, identity, and tissue architecture. This symposium features emerging young researchers driving the next generation of innovation in genomics, developmental biology, and cell biology. This symposium is co-organized with the JST CREST program "Multicellular Interaction", which promotes integrated approaches to spatiotemporal gene regulation and multicellular dynamics through quantitative understanding of multicellularity enabled by cutting-edge measurement and analytical technologies.
