Fri. Jul 18, 2025 12:00 AM - 2:00 AM UTC
Fri. Jul 18, 2025 12:00 AM - 2:00 AM UTC
Room D(9F Conference Room901)
Chairpersons:Tetsuya Higashiyama(Univ. of Tokyo), Yuko Shimada(Univ. of Tsukuba)
Co-hosted by:International Leading Research KEPLR
This symposium explores biological diversity and the importance of non-model organisms in advancing biological research. Five speakers will share their exciting research on various organisms, ranging from bacteria and plants to parasitoid wasps and birds. These organisms provide unique opportunities to uncover new biological concepts and molecular mechanisms that cannot be fully understood by studying traditional model systems. Investigating such diverse organisms is crucial for expanding the frontiers of biological knowledge. New insights into development, cell biology, and the fundamental processes of life will be presented.
